"Configuring a VideoVGA 8, VideoVGA 8i or VideoVGA 16 in Windows 95
Truevision does NOT support the use of the VideoVGA 8, VideoVGA 8i, or VideoVGA 16 in Windows 95. If you wish to configure a Windows 95 system with one of these products, you must use the Tseng Labs ET4000 display driver which comes with Windows 95.
First, install the VideoVGA software via an MS-DOS window, or by restarting in MS-DOS mode. Make sure that the device driver file, VVGADRV.SYS loads at system boot (via the system CONFIG.SYS file).
Once configured with the device driver and the Windows 95 Tseng Labs display driver, the Windows Desktop Output Control Panel (winvctrl) should function normally in most systems."
