Cirrus Logic CL 5420 5439 5434 5440 & possibly 5444 Driver. Direct X flash upgrade for Cirrus Logic 5420/5430/5434/5440 and possibly 5444 based video adapter cards...also contains driver upgrades for DOS/Win 9X. The videocard will have an electric blue colored flash-PROM chip as well as the usual video chipset. Copy the contents of the unzipped folder to a floppy and reboot the computer with the floppy in the drive...except for 5440 based cards, which are installed via a DOS prompt from Windows 9X. The flash upgrades the card for Direct X compatability and notably improves performance in Windows 9X.
