S3 stealth III s540 PCI Driver. This is the only driver I have located that actually works with the Windows 2000 operating system. This will enable you to use opengl and direct 3d flawlessly. Previously I had tried drivers from the diamond website and numerous other sites before locating this one.

Instructions

1. Download file

2. Use Winzip to unzip contents to a folder.

3. Set display to 256 colors without rebooting.

4. go to "my computer"

5. select "control panel"

6. double click the "DISPLAY" icon

7. go to the tab "settings"

7a. Click on tab "advanced"

7b. Click on tab "adapter"

7c. click on tab "properties"

8. click on "DRIVER" tab

9. click on "update driver"

10.click on "list all hardware listed in a specific place.

11.click on have disk

12.point to the folder you created for the software.

13. highlight savage4

14. click on "next"

15. Reboot computer
